Sorry Helen, but that too doesn't work.

It must have something to do with Vista.
The code compiled, runs perfectly on an XP machine, but on Vista machines the actual ComboBox appears as it should in the grid, but when clicked on and the dropdown list the n displays in the 0,0 position of the screen.

Any idea where I can start looking?

Thanks
I only stumbled upon this when one of my end users reported this irritating problem. Fortunately they can enter the data in an alternate fashion, and that has been advised, until I can sort it out.

Regards

Adrian

Have you tried using this?
1. Click on the embedded control so that it is focused in the Object Inspector
2. Ctrl-X to cut out the embedded control
3. Ctrl-V to drop the control back on the form but NOT in the grid
4. Click inside the grid (anywhere)
5. Now click on the control and Ctrl-X again
6. Click outside the grid (anywhere on the form)
6. Click back inside the grid (anywhere) making sure the grid is selected in the Object Inspector
7. Then Ctrl-V to drop the control back in

Helen
