hi,
I'm currently testing latest IBO release (4.8.7) with Firebird 2.1.x and it works like a charm. The only "con" is that I
definitely ceased to use TIB_Query.Locate because it is too slow. Now I prefer to use a parameterized query that is
enormously faster. With this method I obtained a speed gain of at least ten times. But this slowness was present also in
older versions of IBO.
