Ed,
It was good to hear from you...
All,
Despite Ed's humorous joke... There definitely is electricity
here! No worries about that. I may be out in the sticks a bit but
I do have satellite internet service that isn't as nice as what I am
used to but it works adequately for my needs. Once I get a bit
better settled in here I will probably get another T1 line to my
house. The price for them is coming down. A year ago a quote on a
T1 at this place in Idaho was well over $800 per month. Now I can
get it for under $400 per month. That's what I was paying for mine
in Arizona before I moved.
As I told Ed, I just back last night from another round trip of
moving things from down south. I picked up a box that was supposed
to come on my last trip 3 weeks ago that had bits and pieces of my
computer workstation that has all my stuff for making releases. I
actually had to make a special trip to go and get more stuff because
I forgot that one box and I didn't want to wait until first of
November for when my next trip was scheduled.
Anyway, I'm now putting together my workstation at our new place and
I should have things back in order again soon to work on the new
release.
Sorry to all who are wondering what in the heck is going on in my
life. I'm healthy and well and looking forward to getting back to a
more normal groove. My job with the state is actually scheduled to
go away early next year so I very much hope to get IBO going with a
full head of steam. I am going to need it very much to keep my
bills paid.
All the best,
Jason Wharton
