I discovered that the problem wasn't what I thought.
I was trimming the spaces on the terminator character(s).
The problem was actually in the routine that gets the next statement not
using multi-character terminators correctly.
I have fixed this and it will be in the next sub-release.
I have also added this case to my QA test routine.
