Thank you for response Marco.

Actually all data stored in the database. Report tool just allow fetch
it and represent for looking and printing.

Don't worry about somebody can't read your XLS-report, OpenOffice for
instance can work with XLS. So it is not so locked. No more locked
than database ODS. Besides, Microsoft will add ODF export or even
support it in full.

Other issue - OpenOffice is free of charge, Microsoft Excel is not.

Microsoft Excel is great tool, I appreciate it, millions of buyers
too. It is much more powerful than other spreadsheet tools. And It is
much more powerful than standalone report tools like FastReports.

XLSQL Reports is symbiosis of Excel power and SQL power.
It is useless without one of constituents.
Excel-users will highly appreciate it.
Not Excel-users have to use other report tools, I accept it.
