I use OpenOffice that has a standard, open, internationally approved
(ISO) file format. I'm not interested in any tools that locks my data
in a proprietary format anymore.
This is not a critic to your product, just would like to make you
aware that the sane direction, OMHO, is people to get control upon
they own data / documents, avoiding vendor lock-in.
Probably you could also make your component ODF compliant, since you
can have all the documentation you need about the format:
http://opendocument.xml.org/
http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/tc_home.php?wg_abbrev=office#odf11
FastReports, for instance, has added ODF export filters.
