I got curious when I read this earlier today, and since it could fit in
quite nicely with something I'm currently working on, I decided to try
it out.

Two components isn't much, but since it can be combined with both IBO
components, Excel templates and something very close to SQL, it seems
powerful and certainly something that far exceeds my modest needs for a
reporting tool. When I can understand it in a few hours, it is simple,
and it does look like something that will make writing reports much
simpler once I get the hang of it.

It impressed me when I partly filled an Excel sheet, including a SUM
formulae, wrote a small test program using xlSQL and saw that the report
managed to change the formulae to fit the number of rows.

You're right in that the documentation has to be improved, at least the
English version (the Russian version seemed better, but my Russian is
far from fluent).

And it amused me when I tried one of the samples (not all paths were
correct in my installation) and suddenly discovered that Excel said
'List1' with cyrillic characters, rather than 'Sheet1'.
