As I said, I put together a small project that demonstrates the
problem. I kept working on it over the weekend and I have now put
together another small project that seemingly does not have any memory
leak problems.
I will compare the two to see what is required to eliminate the memory
leaks. When I find it, I will post it here, in case anyone is interested.
