Thanks for the refresher. Since my IBO content is in the root of the drive,
it was simple enough not to copy the old IBO content. I did not mirror the
drive. I copied selectively.



The IBO that I am installing from my old system is a registered kit (v.
4.5). I paid for the tIboxxx components, the only ones that I need. Matter
of fact, my old system is still operating, and I executed the same install
file simply by opening it over a network connection.



I have D6 Professional. To my knowledge, the packages you referred to have
not been a problem in the past. But, if I don't need them, I can just omit
them.



I'll await your response before trying again.

This looks like a mix of two things:



1) Cobwebs left on your hard disk from a previous IBO install. I

know you said you're installing on a new system, but did you perhaps

copy some directories over from another machine?



2) Attempting to do a complete install into D6 Standard or Personal

edition. You need to remove the ...W... and ...X.... dpk's from the

program group in this case, as they require the Web and TDataset

libraries, which only come in the Enterprise edition.



Please tell us exactly *what* IBO kit you are trying to install. You

say IBO 4.5...which is now superseded...but is it an evaluation kit?
