OK .. tried this .. but cannot get to work, as the value passed by the
bookmark is a hex value.
Ie: '0000E10, 00001010' etc
What is Jason actually storing in the bookmark, doesn't appear to be the
actual PK_Fields value.
That is why you say :
store it in a separate
stringlist ("transforming" bookmark value into pk value).
Transforming is what this is all about.
If I know what I'm transforming, I may be able to get this to work.
Any suggestions.
My PK_Field is an Integer field called animalid.
The hex value appears to point to some internal marker Jason is using.
Thanks
Adrian

Hello Adrian Wreyford,
query1.SelectedBookmarks-StringList and store it in a separate
stringlist ("transforming" bookmark value into pk value). Then copy
query1.sql.text to query2.sql.text and add a in()-clause to query2:
query2.sql.text:=query1.sql.txt;
query2.SQLWhere.Add(format(' and %s in(%s)
',[pkfieldname,pkstringlist.commatext]));
