On the coat tails of Helen's departure I'll announce my arrival home.
I was away for nearly three months and I had intended to have better contact
with the internet while I was gone but I had a problem with funds and
couldn't afford to purchase the mobile satellite equipment I was intending
to. I sold a home but the buyer/lender keep having problems and delays
getting the deal finished up. As a matter of fact, I am still waiting for
them to finish it up. I'm told it will close by the end of this week.
My machine at home is still not working. I hope I can get it repaired soon.
It is the machine I do builds on. There were some really bad electrical
storms during the monsoon season and my UPS couldn't handle it. In fact, I
think that is the major thing that got messed up and it's the cause of the
other problems.
Anyway, I had a great summer but I'm glad to be home so I can take care of
the issues of finishing up the support for Firebird 2. Thanks for your
patience and to all who have really stepped up in my virtual absence.
