Helen,
I cannot drop a TIBODatabase on the form because the tab that would include
the TIBOxxx components is not showing up in the palette. I cannot find the
tIboDataBase icon in any of the visible tabs.

Ok - what happens when you create a new project and drop a TIBODatabase
onto a form?
