You can ignore my last post. I renamed zlib.pas to zlib_ibo4.pas and
changed the references to zlib and the recompiled and that problem
went away. The mysterious vanishing pallette entries were caused by
studiously deleting the left over pallette entries after de-
installing IBP 3.5 (as instructed in the how to guide). This caused
those icons to be flagged as "hidden" in the pallette properties
page. Telling Delphi to "show" them again made them reappear.

Some days I hate computers with a passion. :(
