Thanks for you suggestion. I knda don't know how to say this but....

I discovered the problem when I went to do your suggestion and noticed
that I hadn't even set the Ib_Connection property !!!!!!!!!!!

Setting this made it work fine. The amazing thing was that it was
actually registering the events even thought the ib_connection was not
set.
