Have you looked at the IB6 beta Language Reference document
( http://www.firebirdsql.org/index.php?op=doc&id=userdoc )? It has
all the system tables listed and describes what they are for, and also
describes(including what the values represent) each field of those
tables. That's the document that I use as a reference to extract
metadata.

the Firebird-Support group.
