The error about "missing DCU files" is a standard Delphi one: it really
means that the compiler looks first for the .pas file. If it can't find
that, it looks for the .dcu file. If it can't find that, it delivers the
message you saw.

It is probably that the installer has not properly detected your ibo root
directory. Go into Environment Options and add the path that you intend to
use for your ibo root to the library path. Then start over.

Unfortunately, not an evaluation version. This installer is also a "new
experience" for all of us, including Jason. I think it could well be said
that there are still some details to shake down.

Anyway....a little later....I've just done a completely clean install of
the current eval kit into Delphi 6, with the recommended pre-setting of the
ibo root path in the environment library path and with the path to which my
previous IBO install made invalid by renaming the folders. The install
went flawlessly. Now, of course, I must uninstall it and revert to my IBO
4.3Ab install, because I have about 6 dependent libraries that can't find
IBO now. :-)

With luck, just preparing the library path before you run the install
should do the trick for you, too.
