Hi Tony,
server's cache is like comparing apples and oranges. But this is
not my point.
do and on what kind data is stored in the DB. There is no rule of
thumb. But there have been many reports that more than 10,000 pages
have decreased performance in almost every case.
that there is a big difference between the tone of the words "simplistic"
and "simpleton". And you might not have noticed that the "simplistic"
paragraph is followed by an emoticon.
So you should perhaps consider if you got "pissed off" to easily and
for no reason.
Concerning Helen, I must say that she is the person who answers most
of my IBO-related questions. She always did this in a very friendly
manner - this was even true for my most moronic questions.
Generally, this list consists of many friendly and polite people.
If everybody were as irritable as you, you might already have been
flamed for not posting your real name or for the way you talk to
women. But apparently, it did not happen and this should show you
that the people in this list are quite patient. Some of this patience
would perhaps suit you so that you would not get angry and nitpicking
about such little details.
wrong tree ;-)
my point. If not, then feel free to flame me privately.
I do not think that newsgroups or mailing lists are a good place
to discuss such matters. But when I see people like Helen (who spend
large amounts of their time to help people _for free_) being treated
like that, I tend to lose my patience.
Just a little bit.
With regards,
Christian
