Good thing you are wrong, there are articles on the web that state
in certain circumstances increasing the number of pages to 10,000
can increase performance.
It sure seems that this is a bad idea for blobs.
There is a direct relationship to cache and performance, it just
depends how it is implemented.]
Lets see, Intel introduced the celeron with 0 cache and its
performance was crap.
AMD increased the cache on the Athlon from 256 to 512kb, why to
improve performance.
Maybe you should write a article on how the FB cache works and what
the best settings are for us Simpletons.
Once again your response comes across as crass. You are a fountain
of knowlegde, but you need to be a little nicer.
All you had to do was leave out the simplistic part, it's little
things like that that really piss people off.
I am a paying IBO customer and I don't like being treated like that.
Remember the customer is alway right :-)
