Please provide a better description of the problem.
When you say freezing, what exactly do you mean.
Have you traced or generated log entries to pinpoint where it is freezing in code?

I have gone thru the app again and managed to get the Next Transaction
number difference, after one process run, down to 23 i.e. the process
now uses 23 Transactions.
Process is not the right word, it is actually Delphi Application
procedure which executes few database stor procs.
