It's the first *number* in the version string that identifies the major
codebase version, i.e. it's a question feature sets, architectural changes,
etc., not whether it is Delphi, Kylix, CPPB, etc. So, for, example, the
first Kylix conversion was IBO 4.2H. The newest alpha code is a mix that
fits in somewhere between 4.2 and 4.5 but it's not 4.3, either. When we
make the next beta available, it will be 4.4-something.

BTW, you can download the release notes from the download page, without
downloading the whole eval kit.
