I suspect that what you are losing are the changes in your
editor that
haven't been flushed to the dataset record buffer and the
mousewheel is not
protecting them. It needs to make sure data changes in editors
are not
reset by triggering an OnDataChange event.

I'll take a closer look at this right now...
