Glad you solved the immediate problem. But it seems that the Hosts file
must be the culprit.

Questions:
1. Did you have a leading space on the IP address line? Will cause a
failure.
2. Did you leave a space or tab between the IP address and the host name?
Must have one or the other to work correctly.
3. Did you have a line feed after the last entry in the file? Sometimes
this can cause the line not to be read.

Just curious.

It was WinNT and the Hosts file being ignored by
NT. Using 192.168.200.1:E:\Data\BikeReg.gdb worked
perfectly.....
