Hi Christoph,
Don't you have to close a stored proc before changing parameters ?
I think it's something to do with a bug in interbase/firebird (the older
versions I presume).
It is mentioned in the GSG that this is needed.
Cheers,
Norman.
PS. I don't think changing the parameters affect a normal query thogh, only
the stored proc. Maybe Jason is closing in the background when a parameter
change is made while the 'query' is open. I haven't looked in the source to
find out though.

Subject: [IBO] Changing a parameter opens query
Hi,
I just found out that when I change the parameter of an already open
query, then the query will obviously be re-opened (found it out by
opening a stored procedure which does inserts).
Is this intended behaviour? If yes, then everything's fine, I just
need to know! ;-)
Kind regards
Christoph
