I was also following this thread. It was not answered.

I looked at the sources of the IBX related packages of RBuilder. They mostly
use TIBQuery and TIBDatabase descendents. It should not be too difficult to
substitute these components with the TIBODataSet and TIBODatabase
components. I will be looking at this in about two weeks... unless someone
tried it already.

Did this get answered?

I don't know since I haven't written reports in quite a while.

My users just process with exported data these days.
