correct run time libraries ( the rtl60 and rtl70 bit ). The
same thing happened with Builder6 as Borland changed the way
the linker works.
It's all to do with the way Borland are trying to drop the
need to 'upgrade' projects when you switch versions hence
the loss of _D7 on the D7 stuff. Something that I think is a
MAJOR mistake, as we need to know which versions are being
used, but they are the dictators <g>
IBO40CDT is the first package to load, until that is
installed the other design time packages will complain, so
that is the only one to worry about until we can pin down
your problem. I seem to remember something about about
patches for the D7 runtimes? but I don't follow Delphi so I
may be wrong there.

Main reason is that I don't think that there are only so
many hours in a day, and Jason ( I think ) is still using
Delphi 6. Also many of us perfer our own locations for
things especially in Builder, so we have to learn how to fix
the major flaws in how it works. Normal the install runs
from the box on all versions - unless something was not
quite the same on the target setup - which is the problem
you are seeing <g>
