Hi Helen, thanks for the reply...
The SQL you suggested works fine, but the Invalid_KeyLinks error
remains.
Of note here, is that I was also getting an "unable to modify read
only field"
I have, via various web sources and VCL tracing, narrowed this down
to TClientDataSet.
It would appear, that there is some sort of bug in using
TClientDataSet in a MIDAS environment. It appears the BDE when being
used, was able to cope with this. But When using IB or IBX the
problem surfaces. (There is no mention yet of ADO, which may well be
the only way to get over this) Maybe others have opinions they wish
to share?
Has anyone else heard of this? Has anyone else gotton over this
problem? Does anyone in fact, use MIDAS and IBO together in the
Replacement BDE scenario?
Kind regards,
Ben
