But if you have already created it outside of the grid:
1: Select the control;
2: Cut it with Ctrl-X;
3: Select the grid;
4: Paste the control onto the grid with Ctrl-V.
You don't have to care about placement and alignment within the grid.
This is done automatically at runtime - provided you have set up the
datasets, datasources etc. correctly.
