When I use the bookmark methodology, I still only get the one record showing
in my grid....
There must be some other setting to fill the grid buffer correctly?

Have you tried just saving the Bookmark for the record (
it's a string ) and then simply going to that Bookmark when
restarting.

I just use 'Locate' on a record number and don't have a
problem in my apps.
