Are you segregating the actual client transmission times from the database
request response times?

There is no need to compare results. I am conducting load tests of a web
application. I am only interested in overall time delay from transmission of
a query page to receipt of the response.

More importantly, if you ever wish to compare your results with (an)other
database(s), you need to understand the subtleties of methods you are
comparing. What are you going to compare the results to? that's a better
place to start asking questions I think.

Subject: [IBO] AutoCommit Setting

Greetings,

I plan to conduct a load test on my local machine. A part of the tests
involves repeated postings to update a database table. I want to be sure
that each update is fully committed prior to processing the next.

I am using tIboQuery with a tDataSource.
tIboQuery.IB_Transaction.AutoCommit
is set to true.

Are there any other required settings?

tks,

jwc
