Hi Joaquim,

you could put the username and password in an ini file, encrypted or not -
it all depends upon the need for security in your application. Personally,
I'd leave them out myself and have the user supply them on connection - set
the IBO_Connection's LoginPrompt property to true to display the login
dialogue/dialog and just leave those two properties blank in the IDE. When
you connect, the user will have to fill in a valid username and password -
and hopefully, only authorised users will be able to do so.

HTH

Regards,
Norman.

Norman,

Thanks for your reply.
And what about the username and password. Should they be encripted?
Is it safe?

Best regards,
Joaquim.
