copy and paste?

Then something is still mismatching. As I recall, the keysource dataset is
joined output. Are you using KeyRelation for the insert and, if so, is the
lookup key in the KeyRelation table? If not, it won't be insertable...it
shouldn't be editable, either, in that case.

Can you post the extract from your dfm of the complete properties of both
the keysource and lookup datasets.
