The "rules" are really standard netiquette for all lists and newsgroups -
when replying, only requote where it is important and otherwise delete
preceding messages and all the sigs and garbage at the bottom.

Also, it's bad netiquette to "piggyback" a new thread by replying to an
existing one. You should start a new thread when you have a new
subject. In this thread, for example, we strayed further and further from
the subject "Foreign Key"....
