No, it couldn't. The sort fields are unique not null with unique
indexes. Mostly varchar fields with proxy column for "upper", this
column is indexed. In one case it is composed index with 3 integer
fields and 1 varchar field.

I've never seen it before. I've several times backed up and restored
the database, so it should not be the cause.

If it works ok for you, it must be something in my code, but what?
