Not quite correct.
In IBOQuery:
SELECT * FROM CUST WHERE CUST = 1 : Existing Row
APPEND
... : Now have Row for CUST = 2 : GeneratorLink CUST=CUST_UNIQUE
POST
CommitRetaining
SELECT * FROM CUST WHERE CUST = 1 : Correct
..
SELECT * FROM CUST WHERE CUST = 2 : Correct
..
However followed by
SELECT * FROM CUST WHERE CUST = 1 : Existing Row
APPEND
... : Now working on row for CUST = 3 :
POST
RollBackRetaining; : Works
SELECT * FROM CUST WHERE CUST = 1 : Is now incorrect
It Fetches the Row alright, but follows it with
an Extra GEN_ID(RECNO,1) call, resulting in an
Empty Row for CUST = 4
Only way to get things back in Sync is a DataBase.DisConnetct
followed by a Connect.
Best Regards
Hans
