Thats the theory - but dont bank on it. Test, test and then test
again before assuming all will work as expected.

Small things can catch you out - such as columns or variables called
YEAR, MONTH (new keywords in IB6). There were also some issues
relating to maths variances - which I think have been resolved in
Firebird but it is always difficult to be sure.
