Helen: That is absolutely correct! Very strange! But I have determined
what is doing it. About 2 weeks ago I installed "Form Explorer" as a trial
into Delphi. Everything was just fine until I needed to use TIBODatabase.
I was ready to re-install Delphi but instead thought I should uninstall a
few things just to see what happens. Turns out I would guess "Form
Explorer" when it is trying to build its information in the background gets
tripped up by TIBODatabase. So it was not Delphi nor IBO (I guess I really
never thought it was, but it was a strange behavior). So thanks for your
interest. I need to report the bug to Vladimir Vinogradsky.
