Raymond,

I took a look at your file and I noticed:
1. You're using a Select-column in the query, but a lookupfield
in the grid. Is that why you needed the 'strange'
ordering-settings?
2. You use a Connection in stead of a Databasecomponent. Why is
that?

I uploaded my version of this problem. Maybe you can take a look
at it.
