I don't know what else to suggest, if you believe that you have completely
cleaned out all possible offenders from paths where Delphi might look.

I suppose you checked the system paths, e.g. \winnt\system32 or \windows,
for bpl, dcp or dcu files in locations not owned by Delphi.

If those are truly eliminated then, in your situation, I would want to
download a completely fresh eval kit (both parts). You *might* have had
the bad luck to have begun downloading the first file during a period when
Jason was in the process of upgrading the eval kits on the ftp server...
