Standard Windows behaviour - click on any row outside the selected region.

The SelectedBookmarks property of the dataset returns a stringlist of the
bookmarks (i.e. KeyLinks values) of the selected rows. You can also test
the Selected property to determine whether a particularly Row number is
currently in the set of multi-selected rows.
