Assuming Set meant "columns" here...
This is an open doubt, that maybe some one may solve: the docs suggest
using "IF EXISTS(SELECT * FROM atable WHERE akey=:akey)", but, as Set
says, it's a long time since I learned to avoid the star operator. I
always assumed that the server recognizes the EXISTS pattern and
optimize it as it can. Is this true, or should the doc and the
examples (and my SPs :) be corrected?
