The one that is sticking in my mind is where the system date/time
formatting overrides the editmask when a control is not focused,
causing the display to change format depending on whether the
control is focused or not.

Most of the app can be fixed easily using a display format applied
with the domain. But there are a number of places where I override
the edit mask, others where I use stored procedures and/or
parameters and still others where reports are used. These all
would need to be tracked down and changed specifically, and
considering that the application has over a hundred and sixty forms
and reports this would take some time.

To be honest, I dont think I will bother. I will probably just
alter the source to suit my preferred (and the old default) way
of operating.

What sticks in my craw is that this change was totally unnecessary.
What I would have to do to fix my existing applications could have
been done by who ever wanted this behaviour in their new app.
