Sorry Jason, I didn't resolve it. What I outlined was just my findings,
and I don't really have a clue as too how to correct it. I do have a
work-around for the next version of my software, by using a stored
procedure for the complex select statement. But I don't want to apply this
work-around in the current version, if I happen to need to make a bug
fix(hopefully I'm done with those). But, I can roll-back to IBO 4.2Gc and
the error disappears. Also, I checked 4.2H doesn't produce the error.

If I would have all the version of IBO between 4.2H and 4.2Hj, then I might
be able to pinpoint which version where the error occurs and then look at
the differences between those source codes. I know you have some work in
front of you in other areas, so I don't mind doing this work in order to
help you. My boss only decided to upgraded when version 4.2Hj was out, so
I don't know if all the other versions are on your server or not.
