Finally figured it out ...DataSet.Fields[i].FieldName.
My next problem is to find an appropriate event in the datapump component to
fire off the code that set DstLinks. I am looking for an event that happens
after the fields names are retrieved for both the source dataset and the
destination statement but before the pumping start. Any pointer is
appreciated.

names?
Now that I can't get the datapump component to provide auto DstLinks, I am
going to construct the links myself. I have spend the last 30 minutes
looking at the Help file trying to get a list of column names for a
tib_cursor but haven't found a way to do it. I am sure it is pretty simple
but for some reason I can't figure out.
Perhaps you know...
Thanks

Subject: RE: [IBO] Datapump auto DstLinks question
I have occasionally come across this problem where pumping data between
tables with same fields types and name, and the datapump component seemed to
not link them automatically. It got worse recently when I tried to pump
between two Firebird 1 databases.
I am not sure what is going on, but I did create two identical tables with
different names on two different databases. All the fields names and types
are the same on the two tables. Regardless what I use for my cursors, select
* or select fields names, if I didn't provide the DstLinks, the pump failed.
Same statements works in IB_SQL.exe without explicit DstLinks (generated
automatically after the pump). I must be missing something.
Thanks for any pointer,
Jung

It does it automatically if they are the same.
