No - with the ODBC driver you are connecting directly to the
server/API without using IBO at all.

The monitor does not "hook" into the GDS32.DLL library in any way
(AFAIK the IB/FB client library does not offer any such capability.)
All IB_Monitor does is replace the **IBO** API calls with methods
supplied by the monitor unit (which then call the API functions
internally). So IB_Monitor can only assist with monitoring API calls
made via the IBO supplied library.
