If you are using Version 4.2fn then you have this bug.
You can fix it in 2 way's.
1. Upgrade to 4.2fp
2. Replace the Datepick.pas file with the one from the 4.2f package.

I have similar problem with TIB_Grid date inplace editor. When I want to
change the month by clicking on the inplace editor and select it from
the list, the editor closes and the date does not change. The dataset is
in edit mode. I do not know, what can be wrong.

It is only a wrapped native Windows control that has bugs in it which
make
it impossible to deliver a quality data bound control.
Please use the TIB_Date control instead.
