behaviour of lookup datasets is only operational in dssEdit mode.
You could use TIB_LookupCombo this standalone (i.e. not in a grid)
with a separate query populating the lookup list and no key-linking
to the master dataset. Better still, - use TIB_IncSearch - it's like
the SearchEdit but adds the incremental search capability - v.
powerful. You attach it to a column in the same dataset - user types
in the first few characters and the dataset positions on the first
matching row.
