Narrowed it down to boolean types. If I take away properties true text and
false text on the query exception goes away
or if I put an edit box on the form displaying the value Y or N or if i
simple copy the tib_checkbox and leave both on the form then the problem
also goes away.

Just came across an odd problem. I made a small change to a previously
compiled project using Ef. Some forms raise an error exception call
EOutofresources with message out of system resources... When I turn on the
monitor, the error goes away, if I turn off the monitor it comes back.
Any ideas.
