Jason,
I must just be out of it today. Maybe I don't understand what
you mean when you said:
It is now possible to specify a base query which could
output a dataset of more than 100K rows and, as a user
navigates this large dataset, IBO automatically does
the refinement necessary to pull in only those rows that
are of interest.
I assumed that I would use a SearchEdit or something to move
around to the rows of interest rows. Could you maybe explain
what should be happening and how it should happen.
When I try to just set up a Query, Grid, and SearchEdit, then
what I type in the SearchEdit doesn't cause the query to position
or anything. I can add the code like is used in SearchingLinks Demo,
and it works to an extent, but that doesn't seem to be what you
are describing above?
I added indexes both ascending and descending.
Thanks

What I have told you so far should be all you need to know.
Watch in the SQL trace monitor what actually is happening and see if it
makes sense to you.
