NONE of my queries are opened in the OnCreate event, but I
have different examples of the grid disappearing. Usually
when displayed on TAB pages, but also now on secondary
forms.

This is not a simple single fault, but there is probably a
single problem that needs to be fixed - most probably by
patching past a windows problem.
