Sorry I missed your earlier post, I was searching newsgroups for
variants and D6. Yes, returning it AsString works, thank you.

There is something odd about variants in D6. I saw a posting in one
NG that said that Borland had completely reworked them and provided
their own solution instead of hooking into an MS one.

I think I may just have seen a similar problem with Int64's in
VarArrayOf.
